The Private Secretary to H.B. the Governor of Hongkong

presents his compliments to the Under Secretary of State for

the Colonies and has the honour to enclose copy of para.11 of

the letter from Sir F.Piggott to H.E. the Governor dated 1st,

December 1911 (which forms Enclosure 1 of Governor's Confidential

despatch of December 29th, 1911 re Sir F.Piggott's retirement)

which should have been included in that letter after para.7.

Paragraphs 8,9 & 10 of that letter deal with the subject of

the Appeal Court and have been extracted to another despatch.
